A very fine silver gilt Cutlery service by J. C. Klinkosch in the original two wooden boxes, 98 parts, consisting of: 24 spoons, 24 small spoons, 24 knives, 24 forks, 2 serving untensils

 

Vienna, date circa 1870

Fully hallmarked.

The boxes stamped: K. und K. Hof und Kammer Lieferant, Wien

 

The celebrated firm of J.C. Klinkosch was appointed gold and silversmiths to the Austrian Royal Court. They also exhibited at the Vienna World Exhibition of 1873 and at the Paris Exposition Universelle in 1878.
